On June 11 at our first worship service, in place of a sermon
we had a presentation by guest speaker Daowd Salih, a native of Darfur, on the
unfolding crisis in Darfur. Mr Salih
spoke extemporaneously, so we do not have the text of his remarks to post here,
but we invite you to listen to the audio recording.
Mr. Salih has been living as a refugee for several years in the US, acting as a
spokesperson for Darfurians and their plight. He is co-founder and Vice Chairman
of the Damanga Coalition for Freedom
and Democracy (http://www.damanga.org/), which
is part of the Save Darfur Coalition
