Our guest preacher, Dr. Dale Irvin, is President of New York Theological Seminary
(http://www.nyts.edu).
Dr. Irvin read the passage describing Ezikiel's vision of the valley
of dry bones and his conversation with God, and he related it in a powerful
way to New York Theological Seminary's program at Sing Sing Prison,
which offers a master's degree to the men at Sing Sing. Christ Church
has long supported this program through its Board of World Fellowship.
Dr. Irvin stayed afterwards to lead an adult education session in
which a panel of graduates of the Sing Sing program spoke of their
experiences.
