On Easter Sunday, there will be two
identical worship services at 9:30 AM and 11:15
AM celebrating the resurrection. The Chancel
Choir will be joined by an instrumental ensemble
and the Youth Choir.
There is no
Sunday school that day, but there will be nursery
care for younger children. An Easter Egg hunt
will be held between the two services and all
children are invited to participate.

Worship Schedule:
During the summer, there is one worship service at 10:00 AM
followed by coffee hour.
During other months there is a full service at 9:30 AM
followed by coffee hour, and a second shorter service with meditative jazz at 11:15,
except on special occasions.
Nursery care is always available.

Note: We're now on our summer schedule
with one service each week at 10:00 A.M. and
Summer Sunday Camp for children through 6th
grade running concurrently. We will resume our Fall schedule
of two services with Sunday School at the 9:30 hour on Sept. 13.

Meditation for Peace, June 12
To the Summit Community --
Please join us in a Community Meditation for Peace – Bring a friend!
Wednesday, June 12 from 7:15 to 8:30 pm in Lile Hall at Christ Church.
All are welcome! Beginner to Advanced. It will be a three-part meditation of Peace, for Self / Community / World,
featuring live piano with Daniel Rufolo.
Christ Church is located at 561 Springfield Ave (on the corner of New England Ave) in Summit. Please enter through the glass doors that face New England Avenue. Hope to see you on June 12!

On Saturday May 17 at 8:00 PM
The Jed Levy Quartet will perform music from their new release
“The Italian Suite”,
a ten movement original work by Mr.Levy, that contains musical portraits of people, places and things that made an impression on the composer while touring and performing in Italy.
There will also be a pre-concert talk / meet-the-artists session at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students. They can be reserved online here or purchased at the door.

The Evening Quest Group is inviting all Christ Church women to a

To the Christ Church Community:
The Executive Board of Christ Church invites you to join us on
Sunday, December 12 for the seventh annual review of the financial
affairs of the church, including the status of the 2010 budget and
the preliminary version of the 2011 operating budget. We will bring
the 2011 proposed budget to the congregation for a vote in mid-January.
By that time, we expect to have sufficient information regarding
pledges and operating requirements to give us all an accurate picture
of 2011 prospects for income and expense. Prior to the meeting,
we will provide documents for your review, including a current
balance sheet detailing the church's assets and liabilities, and a
summary of 2010 and 2011 operating budget figures.
In addition to financial matters, this meeting will provide an
opportunity for us to hear your questions, comments, and suggestions
about any aspect of church affairs. The meeting will be held in
Barnwell Hall after the first service. We look forward to seeing
you there.
