Christ Church is an active faith community with a strong
commitment to worship through the arts. We offer a variety of
musical programs for all ages and levels. The congregation
participates in music each Sunday through hymn-singing and prayerful
meditation during musical selections, and their worship experience
is enhanced by the church's three choirs and two handbell choirs.
We also encourage congregation members to use their gifts by
playing instruments or singing solos in church. In the past,
members have played instruments such as sitar, oboe, violin,
guitar, fiddle, and banjo in church services.
There are two services at Christ Church each Sunday, offering
an array of music. The first service is more traditional. The
Chancel Choir leads the musical worship, and the children's choirs
and bells play often. The second service is a jazz meditation
service, featuring jazz pianist Daniel Rufolo. (During the
summer there is only one service.)
